The completion of our Global Hub and Next Generation Building at Houston Levee is one of the most significant initiatives in the history of our church. With over 50,000 square feet of new space, this project positions our church for future growth in Memphis and continued expansion of The Life Church around the world. After breaking ground in August 2026, our goal is to open this facility in fall 2027. This cost is only the approximate remaining fundraising goal for the project. Click here to learn more.

Life Church Courses are new environments we are creating for adults in our church to build relationships and grow in life. These six-week courses will meet weekly and cover topics like marriage, parenting, finances, understanding the Bible, growing in faith, and much more. Beyond the practical teaching and content, these gatherings are specifically designed to help people feel connected and make new friends. In addition, each course night will offer optional dinner and childcare.

For over a decade, Read To Lead has served nearly 1,000 children through after-school and summer programs. At our Austin Peay location, we will continue providing Read To Lead to more than 100 underserved students in kindergarten through 8th grade, helping them strengthen their reading skills and build a foundation for success. We’re also planning to expand our outreach to local public schools, neighborhoods, and families near each of our Life Church locations through adopted schools and Serve Days. In addition to this, we continue to serve families through our Family Advocacy Center, which supports expectant mothers with urgent needs by providing essentials such as beds, clothing, and other supplies.

2026 marks 15 years of FeedMemphis. Through this initiative, we have helped fight food insecurity in our city by serving families millions of meals. Over that same period, the food insecurity rate in the city of Memphis has decreased by more than 20%. We will continue funding our monthly Pop-Up Grocery, Doorstep Delivery Sunday outreach, and other feeding initiatives that together provide hundreds of thousands of meals each year. In addition to this, we hope to purchase our own large, full-scale refrigerated truck that will allow us to increase the quality of the food we serve and enhance our ability to continue to help feed our city.

We launched our first Life Church location within the walls of a prison in 2024 at the Shelby County Division of Corrections. A year later, we added another location at 201 Poplar. This year, God has continued to open doors, and we’ve seen even more favor within the prison system in our city. We recently began weekly Bible studies at the Juvenile Detention Center, with the hope of adding weekly Sunday services there soon. In addition, we will begin weekly services at the Jail East Women’s Prison next month.

As we move into the next season of Life Church Outreach, our goal is to position the Austin Peay Location as the hub of all of our outreach efforts in Memphis. This initiative will include a master plan and redesign of the whole property to give us a more comprehensive and effective strategic hub to serve our region going forward.

For 30 years, our church has continued to grow and expand. Today, we have Life Church locations around the globe. As we keep reaching into the world to bring the message of Jesus to those who are lost, we are always evaluating more opportunities to expand by adding new regions, new locations to existing regions, and establishing permanence in key cities across the earth.

Some of the present needs include: launching second locations in our New York and Santiago, Chile regions, purchasing land for future expansion at our South Africa location, launching a brand new Life Church location in Bangkok, Thailand, actively pursuing a permanent facility for our Italy region, and hoping to establish permanence at our locations that are portable. In addition to this, we are always prayerfully evaluating more God-breathed opportunities to launch Life Church locations in new parts of the world.

Each year, our church invests in strategic partners to advance the mission of Jesus throughout the earth. In 2027, we will invest millions of dollars in world missions. We are proud to partner with some of the most impactful Christian organizations in the world today. Partners like Hand of Hope, A21, Vapor Ministries, Vision Rescue, Convoy of Hope, Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries, and many more. We also support missionaries in various countries who are on the front lines of making a difference for God’s Kingdom.

One new investment we are excited about is helping to launch Hope Mountain Ranch, a massive project of Joyce Meyer Ministries located in Mount Pleasant, Utah. The ranch will serve as a hub for the ministry’s ongoing outreach efforts around the world and provide a place of refuge where people in need can find hope and healing.

Make Room exists to train, develop, and resource pastors and leaders all over the world. Over the last few years, Make Room has served thousands of pastors on four different continents and continues to grow in its reach, influence, and impact. In 2027, we expect to increase the reach and impact of Make Room by resourcing and training close to 2,000 pastors and church leaders.

In the summer of 2027, we will launch another region of The Life Church in Nairobi, Kenya. In a full-circle story of God’s incredible faithfulness, Nairobi Lighthouse Church will become part of The Life Church and a full-fledged location of our church family. This is the same church where our Senior Pastors, John and Leslie Siebeling, served as missionaries for three years before starting The Life Church. Nairobi Lighthouse Church sent and supported Pastors John and Leslie when they moved to Memphis in 1996. Today, Nairobi Lighthouse Church is a thriving church with many thousands of members that has become a significant movement in the nation of Kenya and beyond.
